When screen printing is the cheapest way to do it
Screen printing front-loads its cost. Each colour in the design needs its own screen, so the first shirt is expensive and the hundredth is not. That shape is why it stays the standard for crew shirts, team kit and event runs: past a certain quantity nothing else competes on price per piece, and the ink lays down denser and more opaque than a digital print, which matters on dark garments.
The trade-off is colour count and detail. A two or three colour logo is ideal. A photograph, a gradient or a fifteen-colour illustration means fifteen screens, and at that point digital printing is both cheaper and more faithful. We would rather tell you that up front than sell you the process we happen to be standing next to.

Common questions
What is the minimum order for screen printing?
There is no hard minimum, but screens have a setup cost, so short runs carry it on few pieces. If you need a handful of items, direct-to-film printing is usually cheaper and we will say so.
How many colours can you print?
Multiple colours are fine, but each one is a separate screen and adds setup. Two or three colour designs are the sweet spot. For photographic or gradient artwork, digital printing will look better and cost less.
What items can be screen printed?
Most things that can be laid flat: t-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, ball caps, bags, jackets and jerseys.
Can you help create the design?
Yes. We can work from your artwork or help you put your ideas together into a logo that will actually reproduce well on a press.
Do you print for teams and schools?
Regularly. Sports teams, clubs, schools and fundraisers are a large part of what we print, including roster runs with names and numbers.
