The roster
The brands on the shelf to try on

Blundstone
Australia, Tasmania, 1870
We stock 24 styles, from the Classic 550s to CSA-rated work and safety boots, all on the wall to try on. Prices are in store.

Carhartt
United States, Detroit, 1889
Duck canvas jackets, bibs and insulated outerwear. What we reach for when a crew works outside through a Fraser Valley winter.

Helly Hansen
Norway, Moss, 1877
Founded by a sea captain to keep sailors dry. That is the same problem a Chilliwack job site has from October to March, so we keep the rain gear stocked.

Dakota
Mark's private label, Canada
Sold only at Mark's, alongside Wind River and Denver Hayes. Nobody else in town can sell you this line, which keeps crew reorders at one counter.

Baffin
Canada, Stoney Creek, 1979
Polar-tested footwear, still manufacturing its Territories collection in Ontario. Winter and extreme cold is the use case: cold storage, snow crews, outdoor winter sites.

Pioneer
Canada, Vancouver, 1887
Started in BC outfitting Klondike prospectors. Now one of Canada's leading PPE brands: hi-vis, flame-resistant and insulated workwear.

Timberland PRO
United States, work line since 1999
Timberland's job-site line: the waterproofing the yellow boot is famous for, built to safety-toe and anti-fatigue spec for people on their feet all day.

Caterpillar
United States, Illinois, 1925
Boots from the equipment company. Cat footwear is built for the same sites as the machines: steel toes, slip-resistant soles, leather that takes a beating.

Dickies
United States, Fort Worth, 1922
A century of work pants and coveralls. The 874 work pant is the same idea it was decades ago because crews keep buying it: tough fabric, straight fit, honest price.

Keen Utility
United States, Portland, 2003
KEEN's work division. Known for the roomy toe box and asymmetrical safety toes, so a long shift doesn't mean pinched feet.

Merrell Work
United States, 1981
Hiking-boot comfort carried onto the job site. Merrell's work range suits anyone who covers kilometres on shift and wants trail-shoe cushioning under a safety rating.

Viking
Safety and rainwear, since 1920
Industrial rainwear, rubber boots and hi-vis built for exactly the weather a Fraser Valley winter delivers. When the site floods, this is the rack we point at.

Watson Gloves
Canada, Vancouver, 1918
A BC company gloving Canadian crews for over a century. Everything from leather work gloves to cut-resistant and impact styles.

YETI
United States, Austin, 2006
Coolers and drinkware that survive the truck box. A crew-gift and corporate-order favourite — we arrange laser engraving with your logo.

What the CSA symbols on a work boot mean
Every CSA Z195 certified boot carries one or more of these marks on the tongue or shaft. This is what each one certifies.
| Symbol | Certifies |
|---|---|
| Green triangle | Sole puncture protection with a Grade 1 protective toe cap |
| Yellow triangle | Sole puncture protection with a Grade 2 protective toe cap |
| Blue rectangle | Grade 1 protective toe cap, no puncture-resistant sole |
| Grey rectangle | Grade 2 protective toe cap, no puncture-resistant sole |
| White rectangle, orange omega | Electric shock protective footwear |
| Yellow rectangle, black SD and R | Static dissipative |
| Red triangle, white C | Electrically conductive, for low-power electrical hazards |
| Dark grey rectangle, M | Metatarsal protection, requires toe protection as well |
| White rectangle with a tree | Chainsaw protection, for forestry |
Staff will match the symbol to your job site’s requirements in store. Browse the Work & Safety catalogue.

Brand questions, answered plainly
Something more specific? Call (604) 858-4199 and ask for the commercial desk.
Which brands does Mark's Chilliwack actually stock?
Over 40. Blundstone, Carhartt, Helly Hansen, Dakota, Baffin, Pioneer, Timberland PRO, Caterpillar, Dickies, Keen Utility, Merrell Work, Viking, Watson Gloves and YETI are all on the floor, alongside Mark's own labels Wind River and Denver Hayes. Stock varies by season, so call ahead if you are after a specific style.
What is the difference between a green triangle and a yellow triangle boot?
Both certify sole puncture protection. The green triangle adds a Grade 1 protective toe cap, the yellow triangle a Grade 2 toe cap. Your site's safety plan says which one you need, and staff will match the symbol to the job in store.
Can you put our company logo on these brands?
Yes. Embroidery and direct-to-film printing are done in house at the Chilliwack store, with screen printing and laser engraving through trusted production partners, and a logo can go on most of the garments on this page. Send your artwork with a quote request and we will confirm placement and pricing.
Can I order online?
No. There is no online checkout on this site. You can browse the Blundstone catalogue online to see styles; prices are confirmed in store. For everything else, call (604) 858-4199, come in, or request a quote.
