Two ChargePoint stations now sit steps from the front door at 45737 Luckakuck Way. The idea is simple: a boot fitting takes longer than most people expect, and a parked car may as well be doing something useful while you are inside.
How to use them
ChargePoint runs on one app across North America, so if you have charged anywhere else you already have an account. The app shows live availability before you drive over, the rate for the session, and popular times, which is worth a look on a Saturday. Payment goes through the app, or by credit and debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or PayPal.
For live status and the current rate at our two stations, check the ChargePoint app rather than this page. Rates and availability change, and the app is the source that is always current.
What Level 2 charging actually gets you
Level 2 is the standard for destination charging: not the fast top-up you get at a highway DC station, but a steady add of roughly sixty kilometres of range an hour depending on your vehicle. That maths is the whole point of putting them at a store. Half an hour of shopping is real range, not a rounding error.
What to do while you charge
The boot wall is the obvious answer: 24 Blundstone styles, all there to try on, plus CSA-rated work and safety models if your site requires certification. There is the workwear department, the Levi's shop-in-shop with fitting rooms beside the display, and the commercial desk if you need a logo on something.
If you are here for a quote, the commercial department runs Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 5:00, and quotes come back within 48 hours. Retail is open seven days a week.
